Homemade Dishwasher Detergent..in 10 minutes or less
I never thought I would make homemade anything. Honest. I am a person who likes to buy Stouffers freezer meals, rolls already prepared, and the ready to go cleaning supplies.
But- with being more intentional. More simple. I decided to try (for fun) to make some homemade cleaners. I have so many recipes to share with you !
This takes under 10 minutes to make!
Very easy, quick and works incredible!!
I have been using it successfully for almost 2 weeks now.
Ingredients
2 cups of Borax
2 cups of washing soda (not baking soda)
1 cup kosher salt (I used iodized salt, and it still turns out great)
1/2 cup of lemonade mix ( citric acid)
Container to store in
Measuring spoon
How to Make
Combine all ingredients in container. I would do 1 cup at a time, so it mixes better.
Shake well.
Use 1 to 1 1/2 TBS per load.
Add white vinegar to rinse aid.
I was shocked after my first load of how everything turned out phenomenally clean. My husband was even shocked :)
