Sock Bun Curls

As a mom, I know how hard it can be to actually have time to get your hair, makeup and shower all in the AM or even in the afternoon. I will humbly admit still being in my pjs at 3 pm not too long ago.

But I have been trying to have more self-discipline and getting myself dressed and ready for the day. It just takes so long sometimes curling my hair, or straightening it if a heat wave has suddenly hit it overnight (bizarre? yes that is my hair).

In comes- Sock Bun Curls!!

At first I was skeptic and not sure, then I decided to try it. By far, my favorite way to do my hair!!

One- Go and steal one of your hubby's dress socks ( or one of your socks, preferably long and thin).

Two- Cut off the toe of the sock. Simple right? Yes, it is nothing special, just cut it off.

Three- Now roll the sock into a ring. It's easy.

Four- Put your dry hair into a ponytail, high on your head. Secure it with a hairband.

Five- Spray just the hair in the ponytail with some water. Not too much, just enough to make it lightly damp.

Six- Grab your rolled up sock, put hair through the ponytail and hold at the tip, now begin rolling it down.

Seven- Make sure to have all the ends in, and you will be good. It should be secure on your head.

Eight- Wake up in the morning and take it out when you feel like it.

Nine- You have curls!! :)

It is so easy, if you need a video tutorial here is one to watch.

I hope this has helped! Let me know if you tried it and how it turned out!
