Enjoying the Little Moments

Currently snow is melting from yesterday's snow fall. First day of Spring was last week. This weather so reminds me and is a comforting reminder from God that right now. The little years with my boys, is only for a season. Only for a time. It will all melt away and be gone before I know it and I will only be left with the memories of "Remember when…" 

It is tough being a momma. It is tough to have those days where the kids are whiny or throwing tantrums. But I have come to realize- I enjoy these moments.

I enjoy seeing endless laundry- It reminds me of how thankful I am to have shelter and clothing for my kiddos.

I enjoy those days they are sick because they want to cuddle- it reminds me of when they were first born.

I enjoy arms reaching up to me and calling me "Mommy, Momma, etc. " - It reminds me of those late night feedings where it was just us two enjoying each other's company. 

I encourage each of you to ENJOY these little years. I know it is tough, trust me. I have the strong willed child :) 

Soon they will be teenagers and raiding my fridge. Of course my youngest does now so what am I talking about?
