The one devotional I love
I have done many devotionals. Devotionals with day to day reading in the Bible along with a book, devotionals with no Bible and only a book, etc. Each one I have lost interest in, felt overwhelmed and given up silently.
Then came She Reads Truth. I fell in love with it. I had accountability each day. We had a hashtag. #shereadstruth. We read His Word daily. Nothing else. Just Jesus and me.
I felt encouraged for the first time in a long time with my devotions. I didn't feel bogged down with added books to read and videos to watch. I had my Bible or my Bible app, my journal and time with Him.
I started waking up in the morning excited to read and still am!
My favorite plan by far has been A Fresh Start. It was a fresh start for me spiritually (I began reading She Reads Truth right before Christmas) and physically (I have lost almost 25 pounds since January).
I am soaking up my sweet time each day. I am reading along and have accountability.
I love this community of women and am so blessed for this changing and shaping going on in my life and especially my heart.
