Monday Inspiration for Moms
After a mini pause in writing here in this space, I am back. If you didn't catch the last post of the whirlwind, go check it out!
I have so much to share and what I want to do here on this space but first a little inspiration for your week.
I have so much to share and what I want to do here on this space but first a little inspiration for your week.
I started Monday Inspiration because Mondays should be celebrated and started with a little pep talk for the week ahead and not dismissed at 8AM as a doom day. So will you join me and share these inspirations with your friends?
This week:
We went this past weekend to try out a local church and it went well but....
Mama, let's be friends. Not one person came up to us before, during or after the service to say hello or introduce themselves. It felt lonely because we dropped the boys off in their classes, went on to the main service and then soon after it finished we left.
I sometimes have felt that the church is letting me down but guess what? We are the church! We are supposed to be in connection, in community with each other. Whether it is over cup of coffee, changing diapers or while your toddler is having a tantrum.
I don't know why we sometimes push against it when that is what each of us wants, deeper connections, more passionate talks for things we love, a camping ground for abiding in each season.
So can I encourage you this week (especially on Sunday) search out that mom that is new to your church or the one who looks lonely on the playground. Search her out and strike up a conversation. You never know what might come of it.
